BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A Netflix documentary series scheduled to premiere in August centers around a 2019 Baton Rouge murder case.

Directed by Skye Borgman, the docuseries, “I Just Killed My Dad,” is described as “gripping.” A synopsis for the series reads: “Anthony Templet shot his father and never denied it. But why he did is a complex question with profound implications that go far beyond one family.”

On the morning of June 3, 2019, authorities responded to a fatal shooting in the Capital City. The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office said the accused shooter, Anthony Templet, fired three rounds at his father, Burt Templet.
