Pointe Coupee Sheriff’s Deputies say an 18 year old man was shot in the head Wednesday.
It happened it the 8600 block of Pecan Dr. in East New Roads.
The victim was transported to Our Lady of the Lake by Airmed in very serious condition.
Detectives continue to follow leads.
