BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – A new RV resort is set to open this September in Baton Rouge. Tiger’s Trail RV Resort, located at 15001 River Road, will be within walking distance of L’Auberge Casino.
“For Louisiana, this is a win, win. Having more campgrounds resorts throughout the state is a great tool for tourism. Camping nationwide is a big boom ever since COVID. It’s great outdoors, family-friendly places to be,” said Lisa Thibodaux, executive director of Louisiana Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds.
Some of the amenities that the gated resort will offer include:
- 220 RV Sites
- 105 back-ins
- 115 pull throughs
- Guard house
- Clubhouse with camp store
- Exercise facility
- Lounge area
- Restroom and showers
- Laundry facility
- Pickleball courts
- Swimming pool
- Hot tub
- Lazy river
- Outdoor bar
- Fishing
- Pond with kayak & paddle board rentals
- Two dog parks
- Bathhouse
- Golf cart rentals
According to Tiger’s Trail RV Resort, “All sites will include concrete pads, patios, 30/50 Amp electrical service, full hookups and WiFi.”
If renting a cottage interests you, the resort will have 10 to choose from.
Although many amenities are not ready yet, Tommy Ramelli, one of the resort’s owners, said residents can expect affordability.
“70 to 95 dollars a night for the sites. Cabins can be anywhere from 150 as much as 200 or above, depending on the weekend of course and depending what cabin that you choose,” said Ramelli.
Tiger’s Trail considers itself, “Baton Rouge’s newest luxury RV resort” and they said that the plan is for a soft opening on Tuesday, Sept. 1.
