BATON ROUGE, LA (WVLA-WGMB)– A group of musicians from New Orleans took some time to brighten the day of Ochsner Medical Center workers in Baton Rouge.
The group, B Street Beeny, which performed at a safe, social distance, performed at the same hospital, that the group’s musical director’s father, Harmon Joe Lewis was hospitalized at for two weeks as he fought his battle with Leukemia and COVID-19. The free concert was also a way to show appreciation to workers on the front lines during Nurses Week and National Hospital week.

Now more than ever before people are searching for ways to give back to healthcare workers.
