Non-profit to hold five distribution sites on Sunday in St. John the Baptist Parish

LAPLACE, La (BRPROUD) – The Three O’Clock Project is starting to wrap up its relief efforts in St. John the Baptist Parish. The project will hold five food and supply distribution sites in different towns in the parish on Sunday, Oct. 10.

Below are three distribution sites that will open at 11 a.m.

  • Nunez Pavillion Hot Meal Distribution located at 920 Jean Lafitte Blvd. in Lafitte, La
  • St. Anthony Catholic Church Auditorium Hot Meal Distribution located at 2653 Jean Lafitte Blvd. in Lafitte, La
  • Pleasure Bend Fire Department Distribution located at 1200 LA-643 in Vacherie, La 70090

The Three O’Clock Project will hold a distribution at St. Hubert Church at 12:30 p.m. The church is located at 176 Anthony F. Monica St. in Garyville, La 70051.

The final meal distribution that the project will hold Sunday is at Place Du Borg at 1:30 p.m. The senior living facility is located at 201 Rue Dubourg, in LaPlace, La 70068.

The Three O’Clock Project is a non-profit organization that focuses on bringing healthy meals to at-risk students after school. The project has served meals to residents in St. John the Baptist Parish since Hurricane Ida struck in August. Supporters include Whole Foods Market, AT&T, Blue Shield/Blue Cross, Hancock Whitney, Cox and more.
