BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — O’Brien House in Baton Rouge is preparing for its annual breakfast, which is a fundraiser for the nonprofit.

Since 1971, the recovery center has served adult recovering alcoholics and drug addicts.
The center was named for Paul S. “Pat” O’Brien, who spent 53 years of his life working with alcoholics and educating the public about the disease of alcoholism.

The annual breakfast is Thursday, October 20 at 8 a.m. at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Baton Rouge. The breakfast is free, but the non-profit is asking for donations.
