BRPD identifies teen victim in fatal shooting on Friday night

The Baton Rouge Police Department has identified the male shooting victim as 14-year-old Brionne Linson, of 1854 North St.

BATON ROUGE, La. (NBC Local 33) (FOX 44) — Detectives with the Baton Rouge Police Department are investigating a shooting that occurred Friday night at 103 St. Vincent de Paul Dr., according to a press release.

Police say an 18-year-old male was found suffering from a gunshot wound around 10:40 p.m. when he was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A second juvenile was found deceased about 180 feet away, at the intersection of S. 16th and North Blvd. with apparent gunshot wounds.

Police say there are no known suspects nor a motive at this time.
