BATON ROUGE, La. (WVLA/WGMB) — The public is invited to ‘Wild Day at the Rowe’ on Saturday, Nov. 16 in Perkins Rowe. The Baton Rouge Zoo will be set up with their ambassador animals. Children are invited to interact with the animals in an educational setting.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will be set up near the Christmas Tree in town square. Face painting and a craft area run by Baton Rouge Moms will also be on-site, according to Perkins Rowe marketing manager Chelsea Thibodeaux.
The event is free and open to the public.
