MORGANZA, La. (BRPROUD) – A jambalaya plate lunch supporting a Pointe Coupee Parish Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) deputy will be held at the Morganza Fire Station on Friday, May 20.
PCSO deputy MyKescha Battiste’s children were involved in a serious car accident in April. The community is supporting her and her family by selling jambalaya plates for $10 each. The plates can be picked up from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Morganza Fire Station. The deadline to order a plate is May 16.
