Pointe Coupee Parish School Board releases COVID-19 guidelines for new school year

NEW ROADS, La (BRPROUD) – Pointe Coupee Parish School Board released COVID-19 protocols and guidelines for the 2021-22 school year.

As students head back to school on Thursday, masks are still required regardless of vaccination status for ages five and older. Students will continue face-to-face learning. Social distancing guidelines are three feet apart or more and masks must be worn while on school busses. Faculty and staff should stay six feet apart from each other.

Pointe Coupee Parish School Board will continue to follow the CDC and Louisiana Department of Health guidelines. Find more information on isolation, quarantine and exposure here.
