NEW ROADS, La. (BRPROUD) — Two arrests were made in connection to a shooting that left a 26-year-old dead earlier this month.
The Pointe Coupee Parish Sheriff’s Office said Jacobey Thomas, 19, and an unnamed 17-year-old girl were arrested in the case Thursday.
The victim, identified as Joshua Porche, was killed in a shooting on Delta Place Road on Oct. 8.
Thomas was charged with second-degree murder and obstruction of justice. The teen girl was charged with principal to second-degree murder.
