BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Baton Rouge Police Department responded to a reported shooting in the Tigerland area that left one dead and another injured.

Police said the shooting took place at around 9 p.m. at 1194 Bob Pettit Blvd. Officers found a man shot to death in a parking lot and a second victim, a 24-year-old woman, at a local hospital with injuries, according to BRPD. Police said the woman’s injuries were non-life-threatening.

Police said the investigation into this shooting remains open.
