UPDATE: The sheriff’s office confirms that all lanes are now open.

GONZALES, La (BRPROUD) – Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office announced that Airline Hwy northbound between Germany Road and Hwy 621 is closed due to a gas leak.

The sheriff’s office and Ascension Parish Fire Protection District No. 1 are on the scene and ATMOS is en route.
