Prank gone wrong: Three arrested for gluing Assumption High School doors

Three teens were arrested for destroying Assumption Parish High School property Tuesday.

According to Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon,  deputies responded to a vandalism complaint at Assumption High School on May 10, 2018.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered that the locks on the school’s front doors were filled with what appeared to be glue.

This glue-like substance caused $8,000 in damages.

As a result, all three suspects were identified and booked at the Assumption Parish Detention Center on Friday afternoon.

18-year-old Casey Landry, 17-year-old Hayes Chandler and 17-year-old Haydn Rivere were all charged with the following charges:

Criminal Trespassing and a felony charge of Simple Criminal Damage to Property in Excess of $8,000.

 All three teens have been released on bond.
