Pre-K registration event with free pony rides to be held Saturday

BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) – East Baton Rouge Childhood Community Network and the Jewel J. Newman Community Center will host a registration event for pre-kindergarten.

The event, Pre-K Community Helper, will be on Saturday, Oct. 2 from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Crestworth Early Learning Center. The event will have free pony rides, face painting, storytime and more. Register for the event here. The center is located at 11200 Ave. F in Baton Rouge, La.

East Baton Rouge Childhood Community Network is offering free enrollment for kids who are three years old at Kidz Karousal at Crestworth Early Learning Center. Crestworth Early Learning Center and CCAP Childcare Assistance Program Application Support are offering free enrollment for children who are four years old.

The One Breath Project also will be at the event to giveaway baby supplies to families. Diapers sizing from newborns to six months, formula and diaper bags will be given out but registration is required.
