Preliminary autopsy for man killed in Clinton officer-involved shooting completed

The autopsy of Myron Flowers, 28, a man killed in an officer involved shooting is complete. A preliminary autopsy results list his cause of death as multiple gunshot wounds. A final autopsy will be ready in two months, the toxicology report is scheduled to be completed in a few weeks.

Flowers was killed Friday, April 12 following a traffic stop on LA 10 near Jackson Street. Monday, during a press conference, officials said Flowers was in possession of two handguns. When officers attempted to retrieve the weapons, a struggle begin which led to officers firing their weapons.

During a press conference Monday, Clinton Police Chief Ned Davis Jr. confirmed Clinton Police Officer, Richard Boudin, is on administrative leave. The East Feliciana Parish Sheriff’s office did not give an update on the status of Deputy Cullen Wilson.
