BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Some of you may have seen world traveler Rick Steves on PBS over the years and now you will have the chance to see him through the East Baton Rouge Parish Library Author Talk Series. Steves is scheduled to participate in the virtual talk at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10.
The world traveler will share “ the latest in smart European sightseeing and encourages Americans to broaden their perspective through travel,” according to the East Baton Rouge Parish Library. The talk will include a slideshow. The EBR Parish Library said, “You’ll learn how to venture smoothly and affordably by planning an efficient itinerary, eating and sleeping well, avoiding crowds, packing smartly and more.”
