Salvation Army launches ‘Re-Think Lent’ challenge to encourage those to give

It’s a 40-day challenge that starts during Lent and ends on Easter Sunday and it’s all in the spirit of giving back.

The Salvation Army’s lent challenge is encouraging those to put an item in a bag everyday they may not use, and on Easter Sunday to donate to the organization.

Donations of all kinds are being taken including food, clothing and money.

For those that are interested, can drop off bags to:

·  Salvation Army Drop Off Center at 7361 Airline Highway

·  Salvation Army Family Store – 10420 Coursey Boulevard (behind Home Depot)

You can also call 225-355-4483 to arrange a pick up.
