GONZALES, La. (BRPROUD) — An SBA Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) will be opening in Gonzales on Wednesday morning.
This DLOC will be located at 1112 E Ascension Complex Blvd and operate Monday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Anyone in need of assistance with their disaster loan applications and loan closings can visit to talk with a representative.
The DLOC at this location will be closed from Nov. 25-27.
“At this stage of the recovery process, the emphasis for assistance is to meet the long-term needs of businesses and individuals that were impacted by Hurricane Ida that occurred Aug. 26 – Sept. 3, 2021,” said SBA’s Director Tanya N. Garfield of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Disaster Field Operations Center-West. “The transition of the Gonzales Disaster Recovery Center to an SBA Disaster Loan Outreach Center will better meet the current needs of Ascension Parish residents.”
More than $1 billion has been funded by the SBA to homeowners and renters affected by Hurricane Ida, according to SBA officials.
