Scotlandville Saturdays to host free Easter basket giveaway April 3

BATON ROUGE, La. (BR Proud) — A free community-wide Easter basket giveaway is planned for Saturday, April 3 at Scotlandville Plaza. The event gets underway at noon and includes an Easter egg hunt, snacks, activities, a pop up shop and more.

The event is made possible by a partnership between Scotlandville Saturdays Open Market and Klassy Styles LLC. Scotlandville Plaza is located at the corner of Scenic Highway and Scotland Avenue. The event will be held outdoors and masks are required.

Anyone who would like to donate items for the Easter baskets may. Organizers said they hope to make 100 baskets and are requesting toys, candy, snacks, Easter baskets (and grass), money and eggs (real or plastic).

Items may be dropped off, or mailed to: Klassy Styles, 6866 Buttonwood Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70812. Anyone who would like to donate money may do so through the Cash app ($klassy Styles) or Paypal (Klassy styles LLC).

An Amazon Wish List: Scotlandville Easter Baskets has been created. Anything purchased on the list will be mailed directly to organizer, Klassy Styles.
