Search for missing Florida boy involving New Orleans Coast Guard ends

BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) – The search for the missing 9-year-old Florida boy involving the New Orleans Coast Guard has ended.

Coast Guard, Air Station New Orleans, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Coast Guard Station Panama City and the Bay County Sheriff’s Office were all searching for the boy and a 28-year-old male who went missing Saturday, Sept. 18 at sea near Panama City.

Divers from Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission recovered a body matching the description of the boy and the 28-year-old.
