BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – BREC’s Boo at the Zoo is returning at the end of October.
The event will be from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the weekends of Oct. 21-22 and Oct. 28-29. There will be a princess character meet and greets, a dinosaur experience, a pumpkin patch and a costume contest.
The event will take place during the zoo’s normal hours, so food and refreshments will be available for purchase at the Boo at the Zoo food court. Louisiana favorites including jambalaya, gumbo, boudin and more will be sold.
The event also will have a magic show and animal activities. Zoo members can get in for free, and non-members will have to pay regular zoo admission prices.
