South Carolina man arrested by LPSO deputies after using commercial bus system to traffic drugs

LIVINGSTON PARISH, La. (BRPROUD) — A South Carolina man has been arrested by Livingston Parish deputies after using a commercial bus system to traffic drugs into the state.

LPSO detective investigation led authorities to search a bus passing through the parish where approximately 2.95 pounds of cocaine was found.

Oscar Gonzalez-Zuniga, 48, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute Schedule II CDS (Cocaine).

The sheriff’s office said the investigation is ongoing.
