BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Southern University says a series of events will be taking place Wednesday commemorating the 50th anniversary of the deaths of students Denver Smith and Leonard Brown.

The university said all events are free and open to the public.

Pilgrimage from the Southern University Museum of Art to the Smith-Brown Memorial Student Union
