BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) –– Southern University Law Center’s (SULC) third Sports and Entertainment Symposium provides people with the opportunity to learn from executives about the sports and entertainment industry.
The symposium is open to students and the general public. It focuses on “The Evolution of Creativity.” Workshops and general sessions will cover motorsports, labor unions, contract negotiation, diversity, and more.
This is not a first for the Law Center. SULC held its first Sports Agent Bootcamp in February, where leading agents engaged with law students, alumni, and the community.
In July, select students attended the Summer Entertainment Immersion Program in Los Angeles, California. The program granted students the opportunity to meet leading attorneys, entertainment executives, and thought leaders.
The Sports and Entertainment Symposium is scheduled for September 23–24 at the Manship Theatre, located at 100 Lafayette St. Tickets are $50 for students and $75 for general admission. You can get more information here.
