BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) — Today is the start of the fall semester at Southern University and students are heading back to the Bluff with masks on.
Masks are required inside all Southern University buildings regardless of vaccination status.
Ahead of the school year, the university required students living on campus to be vaccinated or have proof of a negative COVID test.
The Southern Law Center has already experienced its share of positive cases, announcing last week that all in-person classes will be conducted via Zoom until Friday, August 20th.
This semester, classes are offered in two ways, traditional face-to-face instruction and online.
