BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Southern University and Ochsner Baton Rouge’s partnered mobile health unit, the Jag Mobile, will visit multiple areas around Baton Rouge neighborhoods to provide free breast cancer screenings.

The screenings will begin in Sept. and conclude in Nov. Scheduling and registration are not required. Regardless of insurance, screenings are free and open to the public.

The Jag Mobile dates and locations are as scheduled:

  • Thursday, Sept. 22 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
    • CB Pennington Jr. YMCA, 15550 Old Hammond Hwy, Baton Rouge, La.
  • Thursday, Sept. 29 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
    • Americana YMCA, 4200 Liberty Way, Zachary, La.
  • Thursday, Oct. 6 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
    • Blackwater Methodist Church, 10000 Blackwater Rd., Central, La.
  • Thursday, Oct. 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
    • Plaquemine Senior Center, 58105 Court St., Plaquemine, La.
  • Thursday, Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
    • White Castle Senior Center, 34625 K.C. Dr., White Castle, La.
  • Thursday, Nov. 3 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
