St. George Fire responds to White Oak Trace Dr. house fire; No injuries reported

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Firefighters responded to a house fire in the 3900 block of White Oak Trace Drive on Thursday evening.

Upon arrival, St. George Fire and East Side Fire found smoke coming from the back of the house at 5:30 p.m. The fire came from and was kept in the garage area, according to St. George Fire spokesperson Eldon Ledoux. By 5:49 p.m., the fire was under control.

No injuries were reported.

Officials said the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
