LaPlace, La (BRPROUD) – Talk about getting a turkey at the last minute!
St. John the Baptist Parish will have a turkey giveaway on Thanksgiving Day at 9 a.m. at East St. John Prepatory Academy while supplies last. Proof of residency must be shown such as a utility bill or picture I.D.
Hot meals will be prepared by Mercy Chefs and one $25 Walmart gift card will be given per family. Eight meals are the maximum per family with no more than two families per car.
The school is located at 400 Ory Drive in LaPlace.
