BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — This holiday season, St. Vincent de Paul will be making sure that those in need will get a hot Christmas Day meal.

Meals will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Christmas Day by volunteers at the St. Vincent de Paul Dining Room. Volunteers will also be providing gifts to children stopping by for a meal.

The event will be serving to-go meals and have limited outdoor seating.

“We are doing our best to ensure no one in our community has to go hungry on Christmas Day,” said St. Vincent de Paul officials.

The organization said by the end of 2021 they will have served over 200,000 meals.
