ST. JAMES PARISH (BRPROUD) – A temporary water outage is expected on Monday, Nov. 8 in certain areas of St. James Parish.

The parish will be relocating a water line starting at 8:30 a.m. on North Angelle Street, South Angelle Street, and Angelle Lane. The project is expected to go on throughout the day which will cause water to be shut off.

Once lines are moved, water service will be restored but the streets mentioned above will be under a water boil advisory. The Louisiana Department of Health will lift the advisory.

St. James Parish said that a text message reminder will be sent out. Sign up for messages and alerts from the parish here.
