Suspects in Zachary hair salon shooting arrested

ZACHARY, La. (BRPROUD) – Four suspects were arrested in connection to a shooting at the Beauty Parlor in Zachary.

The suspects were arrested by U.S. Marshals Task Force in Baton Rouge at an apartment complex and are to be booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Jail, according to Zachary Police Department Chief David McDavid.

The shooting suspects were identified as:

  • 21-year-old Joshua Mckee
  • 18-year-old Trelon Perry
  • 25-year-old Terrence Pickett
  • 19-year-old McArthur Perry III

Mckee and Trelon Perry face charges of attempted second-degree murder, aggravated criminal damage to property and illegal use of a firearm.

Pickett and McArthur Perry were booked principal to the charges listed above, according to the Zachary Police Department.

Another individual, Antonio Thomas, was arrested in connection to an unrelated crime. He was charged with illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Authorities said he was out on bond for a 2016 Zachary murder.
