NAPOLEONVILLE, La (BRPROUD) — Detectives with Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office filed a complaint against a 17-year-old in connection to a sex crime investigation involving a 12-year-old.
APSO says the complaint was connected to a sex crime investigation that happened in the summer of 2021.
The 17-year-old was arrested on a first-degree rape charge on April 5.
According to APSO, the teenager will be held in custody after the outcome of a 72-hour hearing.
