If you are a fan of cats, then you’ll be happy to know that The Cat VideoFest is coming to Baton Rouge’s Manship Theatre! Co-sponsored by Cat Haven of Greater Baton Rouge, the event will take place this Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.
Each year, CatVideoFest curates a compilation reel of the latest, best cat videos culled from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos, and, of course, classic internet powerhouses.
Screening events take place all over the world in a host of venues and raise money for cats in need, often through partnerships with local cat charities, animal welfare organizations, and shelters. This year’s event will be presented at the Manship Theatre and will benefit Cat Haven.
Patrons are invited to come to the show early to talk with the people at Cat Haven and meet some cats that are currently looking for a home. The bar will also open early serving brunch themed drink specials.
Tickets are $9.50 and a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Cat Haven.
