THIBODAUX, La (BRPROUD) – Thibodaux Police Department has named one suspect and arrested another involved in the shooting that left two people dead on Friday.
Thibodaux Police Department is searching for 26-year-old Terrione R. Thomas. According to police, Thomas was involved in a verbal dispute with the victim, 47-year-old Alvin Turner, at a party on the 900 block of St. Charles Street. Thomas allegedly left the party to grab a gun and returned to shoot Turner. Turner died as a result of the shooting. A second victim, 70-year-old Linda M. Johnson, was also shot and killed.
Police have arrested 38-year-old Timothy Paul Thomas on one count of accessory after the fact of second-degree murder. Thomas is currently incarcerated at the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex.
