Three arrested in Ascension Parish following narcotics investigation

ASCENSION PARISH, La. (BRPROUD) — Three suspects were arrested in Ascension Parish following a narcotics investigation.

On Monday, Oct. 18, an investigation by Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office, Gonzales Police Department and the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office found the following items after a search warrant on a Gonzales home:

  • 27 pounds of marijuana
  • 900 THC vape pens
  • 42 bottles of THC syrup
  • 37 jars of THC wax
  • 34 packs of THC edible candies
  • 30 premade marijuana cigarettes

According to APSO, a second search warrant was executed at a Prairieville home where detectives found marijuana, 446 premade marijuana cigarettes and drug paraphernalia.

APSO Sheriff Bobby Webre said the following were arrested and charged:

  • 22-year-old Jack Bush of Gonzales faces charges of five counts of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. He also faces a misdemeanor and felony charges with the Gonzales Police Department.

  • 22-year-old Sabrina Fisher of Prairieville faces charges of possession of marijuana, four counts of possession with intent to distribute Marijuana, and illegal carrying of a firearm in the presence of illegal controlled dangerous substances.

  • 23-year-old Derrick Diez of St. Amant faces charges of four counts of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and illegal carrying of a firearm in the presence of Illegal controlled dangerous substances.
