Iconic New Orleans newspaper the Times-Picayune is praising the Louisiana Governor’s Debate, hosted on Wednesday, October 7 by several Nexstar Broadcasting, Inc. stations.

Nola.com writer Kevin Litten said, “Anchors Fred Hickman of WVLA, NBC 6 Shreveport’s Jacque Jovic and Fred Childers at Fox44 were clearly determined not to repeat the mistakes of the heavily criticized WDSU debate, and shaped nearly every question around the weightiest of issues facing the state.”
