Twenty-five parishes participating in election on Saturday

The voting booths in Louisiana could be busy on Saturday with various elections taking place throughout the state. 

Citizens in twenty-five parishes will have the chance to vote with many of them making decisions about referendums and propositions. 

Some parishes in the state are holding elections for city council and school board. 

There are no state wide races this time around. 

The polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 4.
