Two arrested after allegedly stealing tools from Livingston Parish School Board on Christmas Eve

LIVINGSTON, La. (BRPROUD) — Livingston Police Department (LPD) arrested two suspects accused of breaking in and stealing tools from the Livingston Parish School Board.

The theft took place on Christmas Eve, according to the police department.

LPD said the suspects cut a locked gate to get inside the school board building’s maintenance yard and allegedly took thousands of dollars worth of tools stored inside maintenance vehicles.

The suspects were identified as Wayland Brodman, 25, of Denham Springs and Cole Aydell, 21, of French Settlement. Both were booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center on five counts of simple burglary and one count of unauthorized entry of a place of business.
