Two businesses to host drive for burglarized Pointe Coupee Animal Shelter

BATON ROUGE, La. (NBC LOCAL 33) (FOX 44) – Two businesses are teaming up to help a local animal shelter that was burglarized earlier this week.

All My Sons Moving & Storage and Camp Bow Wow are set to host a drive in support of Pointe Coupee Animal Shelter.

The owner of the shelter, Carol Vincent, told NBC Local 33 and Fox 44 Tuesday that thieves came in and stole $1,000 worth of medicine and several pounds of dog food. These two businesses want to help replace those much-needed supplies.

Those items include:

  • Alcohol
  • Peroxide
  • Neosporin
  • Anti-diarrhea medication
  • Allergy medication
  • Bandages
  • Tape
  • Blue-Kote
  • Treats
  • Dog food (Pedigree and Retriever Small Bites)

You can drop off any of these items through Sunday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Camp Bow Wow, located at 7195 Pecue Lane in Baton Rouge.

All My Sons will pick up the items on Monday, July 1st to bring them to the shelter.
