Drugs, guns seized in narcotics investigation at Iberville Parish home

ST. GABRIEL, La. (BRPROUD) — A narcotics investigation led to the arrest of two St. Gabriel residents.

A traffic stop resulted in a search warrant executed at a St. Gabriel home, according to Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office (IPSO).

Narcotics agents seized the following:

  • 3 pounds of high-grade marijuana
  • 16 grams of crack cocaine and oxycodone pills
  • .380 caliber pistol
  • .38 caliber pistol
  • .223 caliber rifle
  • 5.5×28 caliber pistol
  • Two 9mm caliber pistols
  • Ammunition

Malcolm Oliver and Rocquell Tillman were arrested by IPSO.

Oliver faces charges of:

  • Two counts of possession with intent to distribute Schedule II narcotics
  • Possession with intent to distribute Schedule I narcotics
  • Possession of a firearm in presence of a controlled dangerous substance
  • Possession of a firearm by convicted felon.

Tillman faces charges of:

  • Two counts of possession with intent to distribute Schedule II narcotics
  • Possession with intent to distribute schedule I narcotics
  • Possession of a firearm in presence of a controlled dangerous substance

A third individual was issued traffic citations and a summons for simple possession of marijuana, according to the sheriff’s office.

Iberville Parish Narcotics Division, Baton Rouge Police Narcotics Division and Ascension Parish Narcotic Division worked on this investigation together.
