BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Two pickleball players are trying to break a world record, with a match happening in Baton Rouge on Monday evening.
Dean Matt and Shannon Yeager are trying to get a world record for the fastest time to play a game of pickleball in 48 states, according to BREC.
“The thing I am looking forward to the most is meeting the people I’ve talked to, everybody has been welcoming. It’s going to be nice to go around the country and just check the temperature of everybody. Who plays it? Where it’s played? Etc.,” Matt said.
Monday’s game will be played at Greenwood Community Park Tennis Center located at 13350 LA-19 starting at 6 p.m.
