Unemployed seniors can find jobs at recruiting event on Monday

BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) – An event for seniors to find employment will be held at the Jewel J. Newman Community Center on Monday, Oct. 18 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Senior Community Service Employment Program’s recruitment event is aimed at unemployed people, 55 years old and up, to find employment opportunities in nearby parishes including East Baton Rouge, Point Coupee, St. James and more.
