Update: Employee on administrative leave after cheating claims at Glen Oaks

Update: An employee accused in a cheating scandal at Glen Oaks High school has been placed on administrative leave. 

Late Friday evening, the East Baton Rouge Parish school system said it is still investigating. 

The investigation comes after the Louisiana Department of Education flagged some testing irregularity involving five Glen Oaks students.

On Thursday May 16 several outlets reported that there was a testing scam that involved a Glen Oaks High School teacher and several students.

Details are limited but we reached out to EBR for comment on the subject.

Personnel responded with the following statement, “The East Baton Rouge Parish School System, in conjunction with the Louisiana Department of Education, is investigating a testing irregularity involving five Glen Oaks students. This was an isolated incident and all allegations will be fully investigated in accordance with state and local testing policies.”
