Vigil held to remember COVID-19 victims at state capitol building

BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) – A candlelight vigil will be taking place at the state capitol in remembrance of those who died from COVID-19.

On Sunday, the Aids Healthcare Foundation and Oustanding Mature Girlz will host the vigil from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. A prayer led by Pastor Frederick Sweetwne will take place. The capitol building is located at 900 North Third Street in Baton Rouge, La.
