West Baton Rouge announces list of accepted items for Hazardous Material Collection Day

BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) – West Baton Rouge Parish will have Hazardous Material Collection Day on Saturday, Oct. 30 for all residents in West Baton Rouge and Iberville Parishes.

The collection event will take place at Alexander Park located on 250 Elaine St. in Brusly, La. Acids, aerosol cans, cooking oil, bleach, glue, paint thinner, lighter fluid, and mothballs are some of many items that will be accepted for the collection.

Fireworks, styrofoam, power tools and medical waste are a few of the items listed that will not be accepted. For more information, visit the West Baton Rouge Parish website.
