PORT ALLEN, La. (BRPROUD) — Looking for some good old retro fun? Head out to the West Baton Rouge Oldies But Goodies Fest.

The old-school festival is set to happen Saturday, Sept. 9 and Sunday, Sept. 10 at the West Baton Rouge Tourist Information and Conference Center, 2750 North Westport Drive.

On Saturday, cooks from across the south will compete for the title of best BBQ in the annual Smokin’ Oldies BBQ Cook-off, a Barbecue Competitors Alliance state championship. The winners can win up to $500 per category. If you are interested in cooking, the entry fee is $150. Other vendors also will have options to enjoy.

On Sunday, enjoy live music from That 70’s Band and the Justin Cornett Band while you check out antique cars that’ll make you feel nostalgic. Food vendors will also be available on Sunday. That 70’s Band will take the stage from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Justin Cornett Band will play live music from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
