BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Fifolet Halloween Parade returns to downtown Baton Rouge this upcoming Saturday, Oct. 29. Here’s what you need to know before going.

What’s this year’s theme?

This year’s theme is “Fifolet’s Believe It or Not.” The nonprofit 10/31 Consortium says krewes, local businesses, and organizations will throw candy from floats to crowds dressed in their best Halloween attire.

The group will also be accepting nonperishable food donations for the local food bank.

Parade day hourly schedule

  • 1:30 p.m. — Staging Area Blocked (No through traffic allowed)
  • 2 p.m. — Staging Area Opens
  • 3:30 p.m. — Parade Route Blocked (No through traffic allowed)
  • 4 p.m. — Halloween Parade Begins
