Are you looking for something to do this weekend? Here’s a look at some of your weekend options in the Capital City.

Many will be kicking off the holiday weekend with Easter celebrations on Good Friday.

On the final Friday of the lenten season, crawfish sales are expected to be high around south Louisiana. 

You can use The Crawfish App to help track the cheapest and largest crawfish in town. 

Friday morning ‘The Way of the Cross’ will travel through downtown Baton Rouge from St. Josephs Cathedral.

The annual rememberance of Good Friday includes believers walking the streets to commemorate every step of Jesus’ suffering, leading up to his crucifixion and death.

The LSU baseball Tigers will continue their SEC series against the Florida Gators.

After losing game 1 Thursday night, the boys are back in the Box Friday night at 7:00 p.m. and will round out the weekend series Sunday at 2:00 p.m.

Runners may be heading down to New Orleans this weekend for Saturday’s Cresent City Classic.

 25,000 runners are expected to cross the finish line of the 41st annual 6.2 mile run through New Orleans.

This year’s race starts at 8:00 a.m. Saturday.

Sunday is Easter Sunday and churches around south Louisiana and the world will hold special services and masses.

As the weekend closes, families will be sure to be out remembering the real reason for the holiday and the season
