JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (BRPROUD) — The parent company of Winn-Dixie says shoppers can now shop for groceries online and get them delivered to their door.

Customers can shop Winn-Dixie’s website or app and get the same in-store savings and deals, according to Southeastern Grocers Inc. (SEG). The company said orders can be delivered within two hours for $9.

“We are excited to introduce our new online shopping and grocery delivery service to our Winn-Dixie and Harveys Supermarket customers,” said Andrew Nadin, chief customer and digital officer of SEG. “At Southeastern Grocers, we prioritize our people – associates and customers alike – and aim to offer products and services that better their lives and stretch their wallets.”

DoorDash will be responsible for fulfilling delivery orders.

“We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Southeastern Grocers to power their online fulfillment that will give consumers even more opportunities to enjoy the convenience of on-demand grocery, whether at home or on the go,” said Shanna Prevé, vice president of business development at DoorDash.

SEG plans on rolling out curbside pickup for grocery orders at Winn-Dixies in early 2023.

There are three Winn-Dixie locations in Baton Rouge, one in Zachary, and one in Prairieville.
